About the event
In Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, 13-year-old Anne Frank and her family go into hiding to escape persecution. Joined by four others, eight people spend more than two years concealed in a secret annex, where every sound outside the walls could mean discovery.
Within those cramped rooms, life continues. There are arguments and laughter, fear and first love, moments of despair and extraordinary hope. Through it all, Anne records her thoughts, dreams and experiences in the diary that would ultimately give the world an intimate glimpse into the human lives behind one of history’s darkest chapters.
Based on Anne Frank’s remarkable diary, The Diary of Anne Frank is a deeply moving story of courage, resilience and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
